| Xno |
XNO was formed in early 2007 as a way for two friends to get together; we swore we would never take this band seriously. Our goal and our vision was a simple one... to have fun, play music, and drink a little booze doing it. Who are we trying to fool? A lot of booze. After the two had played together for a month or two they decided it was time to start recruiting the other members of the band. What a pain in the ass that was. After what seemed like like several hundred lineup changes, we found the five guys that were the perfect fit for the band and for each other. Although it took a few months to find them all, in the end it was well worth the headaches and frustration. Things were going well for XNO... and then it happened. People started to hear our music, and to our amazement, they liked it. Well this led us down the path that we are currently on. It got to a point where we had no choice but to take all of this seriously. Well, either that or quit. And none of us wanted to quit. We loved what we were doing and playing too much. To be honest, even though it has been trying and frustrating at times we never thought it would go this far. We still love doing it and we love the reaction we get from everyone. We wouldn't change a thing. So what we will do here is start from the beginning. Brian had just recently come back to drumming after taking a 15 year hiatus. He had been playing around with different bands here and there. One of the bands he was jamming with was looking for a second guitar player. On the advice from a mutual friend Brian called up Sphynx and asked if he wanted to come down and jam. He said sure. He showed up. And things went terrible. Sphynx immediately didn't like the other guitar player, and the other guitar player didn't like him. Needless to say, Sphynx didn't join that band. But.... on the way home from that jam, Sphynx called Brian and asked if he wanted to start something new. Brian said HELL YES. And so XNO was formed. Sphynx came into XNO with very low expectations, soon however he was more than excited when things started going well for the band. You can tell, because when he gets excited he always buys a shitload of new equipment that he doesn't need. Sphynx's musical background is heavily fixed in the 80’s; to be exact 80's glam is his true love. Although XNO is the first serious band that Sphynx has been in. His true love of music comes from his father. Growing up in a musical household had a dramatic impact on Sphynx as a child and he has carried that love of music on into adulthood. At the time that Sphynx and Brian met, neither of them knew what a pain in the ass it was going to be to find the rest of the band. But it didn't matter. They were determined to put a band together that were as close musically as they were personally. In other words we wanted people that could not only be our band mates, but also our friends. Brian is the introvert of the band; he rarely has much to say. OH, he also looks like he's pissed off ALL time. Having played in bands heavily throughout the 80's and early 90's Brian decided it was time to quit drumming, even for fun. So for the next 15 years he didn't play a lick of music. After 15 years away that musical itch got the best of him and he went and bought a drum kit right away. He went straight back to playing along to the drummers he admires and respects: Neil Peart, Scott Rockenfield, Tommy Lee and a whole mess of other kick ass drummers To backtrack a little bit. Sphynx and Brian have a mutual friend, which in fact is how the two of them met. After the frustration of trying to find a singer, said frustration was relayed to said mutual friend who in turn told us that his brother was a fantastic singer. We did the whole "yeah right" thing and said "what the hell" have him come down to the rehearsal studio "it's worth a try". Well, that’s where we met J.T... To say the least... we were blown away at his vocal range and his eagerness to get into the band and get down to work. J.T grew up in the 80's and has a wide variety of musical tastes. His main influence while growing up was Sebastian Bach. He has been singing since he was about 13. His brother actually got him started by making him sing to KISS sheet music while he played guitar. Since then, he has been in several bands, 2 of which were signed to indie labels. So as you can see, each and every member of XNO is completely different from the next. What jost would think would turn out to be a walking disaster has turned out to be a killer formula... although we all get along like step brothers. But, we make the music we love and we get to do it in front of all of you. We look forward to seeing you out there. XNO is on a campaign to set themselves apart from the crowd and give its audience and listeners what they came to see and hear. Kick ass skull splitting metal, and a live show that is second to none. Nothing less than world domination will be acceptable. So sit down, shut up, and get ready for the ride of your life. We love ya! XNO

| Within The Eddy |
Within The Eddy is a new Alternative/Punk/Metal band. Their debut album, Breaking Axioms, is a creative reactor fusing structure and improvisation, releasing a vigilante's tonic for defying the status quo. Their band, with its defiance to be neatly folded into a box, captures the very essence of eddy -- a current of energy running contrary to the main current; especially a whirlpool -- a force combining all of its surrounding elements.
Five individuals from around the world have joined to form a band; each with passion, creativity, and determination unique to their age (18-25). Brother and sister, Michael and Christina, guitar and vocals from Tennessee, are storming the stage with Alexis Berger and Nicolas Simolak, guitar and bass friends from France, and Roberto Cerletti, drums from Switzerland with Italian roots.
Within The Eddy are rousing the waters in the LA area, playing everywhere from DiPiazza's in Long Beach, Mirror Image Studios in Anaheim, Burroughs High School in Burbank, to an upcoming performance at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. Breaking Axioms recently received radio play, featured on WOUR 96.9 on Soundcheck in Utica, New York. They also have been added to the Riverbend bill a huge 9-day music festival in Chattanooga, TN this June 7 and are planning to book shows in the surrounding states.
"Whether it will be with a festival or self booked, we will be on tour this summer! At our live show you can expect a safe place to rage, yet a dangerous place to think you're safe...". |

| Nomads of Noise |
Will Teague: Vocals and Guitar
Nick von Korff: Electronica and Production
“Nomads of Noise”, based in Northern Sydney, Australia, formed late 2002.
Both members of the band had played in another band called “Six Pocket Theory.” Nick
left the band in 2001, to venture into the realms of electronic music. Will remains
in “Six Pocket Theory” where he further developed his skills on the guitar.
The two remained friends and after hearing some of Nick’s material, Will suggested
a collaboration and “Nomads of Noise” was formed.
The self produced debut EP, entitled “Primordial Soup” was released late 2003.
In 2005, the EP was followed up by the release of first album “Transitory” containing
15 tracks, and in amongst them, the song that formed their first music video “Freaky
Dance.”
Nomads of Noise are currently underway recording their second album, to be released
sometime in 2008.

Tom Bolton writes whatever style of song feels right at the time, drawing
on an eclectic mix of folk, pop and rock influences. He started writing when he was
sixteen, pretty much as soon as he got his first guitar... when he wasn’t surfing
or skateboarding or drawing. The journey into music was strange and chaotic, with
plenty of detours, distractions and the odd moment of bliss and inspiration.
In 2003, he recorded his first album of original songs “Acoustic Caravan”, under
the name Sensible Tom.
His second album "When I Cross the River" was released in November 2007.
His energetic and quirky live performances have been attracting positive reviews.

| Tokyo507 |
TOKYO507 is a new project from music producer Mark Southeron and singer/songwriter
and TV Presenter Hayden Turner...
Together, they have worked on many projects over the past 15years. Both are Sydney
born.
Producer ,songwriter and musician Mark brings an eclectic mix of styles to the fore.
Mark worked as guitarist ,songwriter and programmer and Hayden, singer/songwriter
for Aussie bands ,The Story and Field of Mars in the late 80's and early 90's .
Mark's love for producing music began as a teenager listening to Yello records and
writing and recording tunes with his school friend Todd Emslie on a Boss D110 drum
machine, Korg Poly 800 and a guitar.
Hayden started to front Sydney based synth outfit 'Carnival of Lost Souls' and crossed
paths with Mark, which lead to working together for many years .
A theme that is being used more on recent productions is the use of jazzed guitar
sounds and silky vocals over smooth electronic dance/lounge beats.
Mark has many label releases, as well as film tracks and a huge list of remixes for
established artists and labels, including Ted Mulry, The Atlantics, Stella One Eleven,
Gilli Moon, Amuka, and is a producer and remixer with Kult Records NY.
Mark is based in Sydney, Australia and Hayden in London, UK. He records vocals wherever
he is travelling in the world and then, from their respective computers, they send
arrangements of music and vocals to each other and what comes out is TOKYO507.
They work with many different musicians, including Hylton Mowday and Todd Emslie,
to add different textures to each track. All tracks are then mixed and mastered by
Paul Bryant at Main Street Studios.

| Dana LaCroix |
Three albums, songwriting credits for feature films and touring activities covering Canada, Europe and the US have brought Dana LaCroix recognition as one of today’s most promising singer/songwriters. A popular concert headliner known for her on-stage charisma, LaCroix is currently laying plans for summer tour dates in the US, Canada and Europe with her New York City-based band.
With her new Cd, Faith In You, LaCroix brings new aspects of her vocal and songwriting talent to light. A departure from her debut release, the country and blues-tinged, Pride, Faith in You bespeaks a stylistic versatility that stretches from poignant acoustic ballads to driving, bass-heavy pop tunes, a la Bonnie Raitt.
"I always wanted to play music that was both introspective and entertaining. The songs seem to come out sounding like stories, which I guess comes from my background in grassroots folk, but I like working with the full band and seeing where the instrumentation takes them,” says LaCroix.
The result is a refreshing sound that goes far beyond grassroots. With soaring guitar arrangements, lush back-ground vocals and even the occasional world-beat groove, the band creates a vivid backdrop for LaCroix''s sultry voice and evocative lyrics.
Press Quotes:
“First impressions are lasting impressions. That being the case, Dana LaCroix has nothing to fear.” The Performing Songwriter Magazine – Nashville, TN
“LaCroix’s pure pristine pipes (have) Amy Grant overtones….With an uncanny ability to find the heart of a song, LaCroix is really on to something.” The Daily Freeman – Kingston, NY
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, LaCroix was weaned on the music of folk legends such as Leadbelly, Woody and Arlo Guthrie and Pete Seeger. Her father, a former singer who performed with Canadian vocal group, The Halifax Three, (which included the recently deceased Denny Doherty, lead singer of the Mamas and the Papas), was her earliest musical influence. One of Dana’s first experiences with 3-part harmony was listening to the different voices on her Dad’s old LPs and trying to guess which was his.
After spending several years working the Canadian circuit, LaCroix relocated to New York City, where she put her versatility to work as a side-musician, honing her skills as a performer and multi-instrumentalist. During her early years in New York, Dana had the opportunity to open shows for many of her idols, including Johnnie Johnson, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, Blues Traveler, The Spin Doctors and Zydeco superstar, C.J.Chenier.
Since the release of Pride, Dana has begun forging a name for herself as a singer songwriter of note. The Performing Songwriter Magazine chose Pride as a Top Ten release and Faith In You is receiveing excellent reviews from both print and radio media. In Europe the press has been equally enthusiastic, covering LaCroix’s concert appearances with consistently glowing reviews. Sought-after for her songs as well as for her live performances, Dana has delivered material to artists and feature films in Canada, the US and Europe, including BMG Holland recording artist, Hind, and European film director, Nicolas Winding Refn, who featured two songs from Pride in his mystery thriller, ''Fear X'', starring John Turturro.

| NORTH |
This four piece band, brainchild of producer, drummer, and keyboardist Brian Eaton, uses technology to the hilt, giving the band its industrial strength rock sound, but theres more hiding below the surface. Norths vocalist Don Grillo manipulates his voice in unearthly ways, scowling and screaming, drifting into harmonies then laying his soul bare. Bassist Nick Sanzeri knocks the listener flat with intricate bass lines coming up from the depths. Classically trained, Sanzeri is the perfect compliment to Eatons rhythmic base. Jon Studtmann has the duty of filling in the high parts with searing guitar work. Equal parts of metal and rock mixed with a style all his own, Studtmann uses his guitar as an emotional Richter scale, reversing the feel of a tune with the changing of a note. Eatons samples provide an overall gothic feel to the bands debut disc, Genocidal World. |

| Junkyard Groove |
This band has carved its own unique niche in the Indian rock scene, fusing rock with funk to give an uplifting style that reaches out to all ages; wowing the audience with a tight, high energy, flawless, musical stage performance.
Ever since its conception in the summer of 2005, Junkyard Groove was nothing but your silly sense of humour trying to be creative and once it got rolling there was really nothing anybody wanted to do in terms of changing direction or slowing down the pace of things.
With an inspirational songwriter in Ameeth and equally brilliant musicians in Jerry, Sid and Craig the band came up with some "wicked" compositions with truckloads of promise. |

| Concrete Evidence |
There’s a buzz in the air about this fantastic new band. Hailing from a
secluded basement near Asheboro, NC, Concrete Evidence cannot cease adding the original
songs to their constantly growing repertoire. These gentlemen are truly on a ride
that does not seem to be stopping anytime soon! Initially formed as a cover band
over two years ago, the guys immediately made two very important discoveries – first,
they had a real knack for creating original music and secondly, they sounded better
with one another than with any of their past musical endeavors.
What kind of music do they play? Well, maybe it’s rock and roll, rockin’ country,
classic rock or rhythm and blues. If you ask any of the guys in the band you won’t
be able to get a straight answer. Whatever it is, people seem to like it! What’s
more, they independently write, record and produce their own music. The band has
its own original recipe for success that seems to be working for them so far. It
starts out as simple but strong melodies written on the acoustic guitar by singer
Ryan McLeod. Add harmonies, a solid bassline, tasteful lead guitar licks and intricate
drums and you have the ingredients that make up a hearty four-course helping of homegrown
tunes.
Concrete Evidence has a unique chemistry that is easily heard in the melodic elegance
of their music. Many of the songs are from personal experiences of pain, and joy
and the everyday challenges life has in store. It does not stop there; they have
some hard driving southern rock, country, outlaw and plain old fashion rock and roll.
The music speaks to the heart at the jost intimate moment and then will have you
up on your feet dancing and kicking your heels.
The band has released several internet singles on top radio sites like SuperCountryhits.com,
IndieCharts.com, MP3.com and several others. The response has been overwhelming.
Here are just a few quotes from DJ’s as well as fans and other musicians:
“… I’ll be playing this on my FM stations soon, I just know it” – Blue Island, IL
“… Where have the guys been hiding all my life?”- Harrison, IN
“… damn good rockin’ country…” - Toledo, OH
“… very smooth and rockin’, exceptional guitar work!” – Lenoir, NC
“… sounds better than some of my all time favorite songs.” – Charlotte, NC
“… I’m digging CE… I want more…” – Erie, PA
“… loving the new CD, definitely Something Happening there…” - Austin, TX
“Beautiful songs… and that silky smooth voice…” Pueblo, CO
The song “Freedom’s Price” has recently held the #1 jost requested spot for over
5 weeks and counting on the Indie Charts, as well as SuperCountryHits.com!

The songs are heavily influenced by the interest in film music, mainly western-sci-fi and horror genre, trying to give the listener a deep visual experience. The music is electronic in nature, soft open soundscapes with a healthy dose of acoustic intruments to bring new life to the electronic sounds, adding dynamics to the mix. Music evokes real emotions, real engagement. Enjoy your defeats and come out ahead. The big target is to create a soundtrack for life with all its ups and downs we are going trough. Msp is working with different artists from all kind of genres. The first set of recordings for the drumparts were performed by Gernot Weller from the band Lydian. Acoustic performences such as drums or guitars are taking place at the Primitive Studios in Vienna. New destinations are planned. Robert Eder from the Artis Studio is responsible for the mastering as well as The Mastering House in the USA. The Alienation Of Affection RMX was created in a collaboration with Gontlath. It will be published by Flowing Records on Intracardials Single. This spring MSP will publlish the first EP on Cd and limited Vinyl, details coming soon... |
